Until the spring of 1995, Ranch dressing was only used as a salad dressing or vegetable dip in my world. Going off to college and meeting a group of girls that seemingly ignored the ranch dressing norms established years ago, I was introduced to the many uses of this condiment. This particular group enjoyed dipping their pepperoni pizza in ranch dressing. Unheard of in my world! And it certainly caused my mother to raise her eyebrow the next time I asked for a cup of ranch dressing at the local Pizza Hut.
Another young lady in the group used ranch dressing to top her baked potato and dip her french fries. What! Not sour cream or ketchup! Another dipped her potato chips in a cup of dressing. Not wanting to be left out of this culinary adventure, I have tried all. Pizza and ranch dressing is not a bad combo.
A few years ago, one of these Ranch dressing enthusiasts gifted me The Little Book of Ranch Dressing to continue my adventures with this condiment.

I have learned there is nothing that a little ranch dressing cannot dress up and make taste better. One of my all time favorite recipes using a ranch dressing packet has to be Chicken Bacon Ranch Casserole from Damndelicious.net. Check it out.
