Did you make a date with a book today?

I did, and it is a blind date. A friend set me up with this one, actually I would have to say friends.

The one author that has been recommended to me more than anyone one else is Frieda McFadden. I did what every girl does before agreeing to a date. I googled the hell out of her. She is a bestseller, has quite a base of loyal fans, and what every mother wants for her daughter — a doctor. She is a practicing physician, and still finds time to write. She and her worked checked many of my boxes, so I nervously bought The Teacher a couple of weeks ago.

Today we met for a tea, and I like what I am seeing. It seems like a real page turner.
