Today is Retro Day, which left me asking what is the difference between retro, vintage and antique. With a little research, I have discovered the retro is anything older the 20 years of age but less than 40 years of age. The first DVD and MP3 players are in the retro category.

Vintage means anything between 41 and 99 years of age. These years saw many influential inventions – the television, Penicillin, and the beginnings of space travel.

And antiques are anything over 100 years of age.
This took me down the road of searching for books that would be definition be considered retro, and I discovered several notable series, but The Outlander Series or at least the first 5 books of the series is my favorite.
The Outlander series follows Claire Randall through the stones to Scotland 1743 to meet the man of her dreams Jamie Frasier. Their story is one of the great epic love stories.
