It is fitting that on this day, National Missing Persons Awareness Day, I finished Shari Lapena’s Everyone Here is Lying. This was a real page-turner! 

Avery, a difficult child, is reported missing by her family after fighting with her father, Dr. William Wooler. Police begin a search while interviewing her parents and other community members. But the majority of the adults have secrets that they are trying to hide for them police and each other. This makes finding Avery harder for the police.

But the biggest liar of them all is Avery. Will she be found? Will her lies catch up to her?
